The material is pretty light and I anticipate some muddy paws from dogs jumping on it, but it appears to brush off when dried. 2. It is a little on the stiff side, but the more I sit on it, the less noticeable it is. 3. The connectors are an issue, which I anticipated needing to figure out another solution.
