Each chair is built with a built metal frame, and they rest on sled-style legs for an open and modern look. The low-profile bucket seats are wrapped in weathered faux leather for a lived-in feel. Inside, they're padded with plenty of foam filling to keep you supported while you eat a weeknight meal or kick back with friends. Plus, these chairs have plastic glides on the feet to prevent scratches on your floor. Each piece accommodates up to 250 lbs. Each seat was wrapped in plastics and each of the metal parts was 100 wrapped in heavy plastic sheeting which resulted in no dings or scratches on the black metal. There are only 4 pieces for each chair and associated bolts. It was really simply to assemble. It took about 15 minutes for the first and about 10 for the 2nd. The first chair took a bit longer because one of the bolt holes was slightly misaligned. The other note is that you need to install the stability bar before you tighten the bolts holding the 2 legs together or the stability bar can’t be installed. Otherwise, the look of them are nice and clean - love mid-century feel. The color of the seats are a nice cognac tone and they are very sturdy. A good choice.. D..
